Description

Lot of 6 different British original pictures taken from the « spy » Spitfire on the first of JUNE 1944, a few days before DDAY ! It should be possible to identify the city with the harbor.

Tle Belgian pilot (Mr. Burniat) who took these pictures was part of the No. 541 Squadron RAF :  a Royal Air Force Squadron formed as a photographic reconnaissance Squadron in World War II.
